An ISO 9001: 2000 certified test preparation company Manya Education is the Indian partner for The Princeton Review (TPR), the world’s leading in the industry. In an interview, Aradhana K Mahna, MD Manya Education Pvt. Ltd (MEPL) shares her company’s experience in the FRO Chandigarh.

Namita Bhagat (NB): Tell us about the concept of your company and how did the company choose the franchise growth model?

Aradhana K Mahna (AKM): Manya Education Pvt. Ltd (MEPL) is the Indian partner of The Princeton Review (TPR) which is a world’s leading test preparation company operating in 25 countries across the globe. TPR is a premium service provider for GRE, GMAT, SAT, IELTS and TOEFL preparation. Established in 2002, MEPL has earned the status of the most preferred destination for MBA, Masters, Under Graduate and PhD aspirants from various streams, for test preparation as well as admission assistance. With a student base of over 45,000 in eight years, we proudly endorse MEPL as an ISO 9001: 2000 certified company. In the past, over 5,000 students have been successfully placed in Undergraduate, Masters, MBA, PhD and many more courses across the globe. Owing to MEPL’s partnership with Universities in countries like USA, UK, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, Australia, Germany and Spain, students’ study abroad chances are greatly enhanced.

MEPL is leading the way in guiding Indian students towards successful careers abroad and back in India. This trend is now catching enormous speed in smaller towns and cities with growing economic prosperity and awareness levels. NB: What are the products and services that are offered by the company?

AKM: The Products and Services Offered by MEPL include test preparation series (SAT, GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, IELTS, LSAT) and admission counseling services. ACS offers two types of services namely, Premium and OUAP (Overseas University Admission Programme).

NB: Tell us about what kind of partners the company looks for? Could you share the promotional strategy of your company to further its reach among its investors as well as clientele?

AKM: Business partners form an integral and important part of our expansion plans and we look forward to their support and collaborating with them for sustained growth. We release newspaper advertisements, web advertising, and direct mailers to get franchisee enquiries. We would like to create associations with like-minded individuals and businesses, thereby increasing the reach of MEPL products and services and creating a Win-Win business model for both MEPL and the Franchisee Partners. We regularly advertise on various website like franchiseindia.com, newspaper advertisements, e-mailers for reaching to investors. For reaching the clientele, we advertise on web, news papers, conducting road shops, seminars in schools, colleges, corporate.

NB: Your company has participated in FRO Chandigarh. What factors motivated you to take part in the event?

AKM: We have participated in FRO Chandigarh for meeting the potential business investors from B class cities.

NB: Share your experience of being one of the participating companies at FRO.

AKM: It was really nice experience. We met some business investors from the targeted cities.

NB: How do you think the brands’ participation in the event would contribute to the brand’s growth?

AKM: The brand’s participation in the event would result in opening up new locations at major cities of Punjab. This will help the organisation to increase the reach to the customer.
