FitnessOne seeks rapid expansion.

FitnessOne, a fitness chain based out of chennai is aspiring to strengthen its presence by opening new centers. It is aiming to take its count of centers to 100 in the next two years. This expansion will be a mix of company owned and franchised centres, confirms a company’s official.The company centers will be launched in the tier-1 and tier-2 cities of southern India and with special emphasis on Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad.
Apart form this, the company is also planning to infuse Rs 30 crore to expand ‘Propel’, its fitness centres and fitness equipment stores in the next two years.The company expects to take the count of its stores to 50. There are currently ten Propel stores, out of which eight are franchised.FitnessOne has also entered an agreement with Shriram Finance to leverage the EMI option for their propel fitness equipments.
The company currently has 36 centres, of which six are franchised, rest are all company owned.
