ITC Ltd has plans to launch 25 specialty stores across India in the next 15 months. The company has plans to take franchise route for 15 stores and rest of the outlets will be under ownership model.
ITC Ltd, a diversified business group also has plans to experiment with new formats for its apparel retail chain ‘Wills Lifestyle’. It is looking for setting up high-end boutique stores at five-star hotels targeting higher-end consumers. Moreover, the company has recently opened an ‘only menswear’ specialty store in Chennai. It has plans to introduce new concepts like designer labels within the new stores. At present, 15 per cent of the company’s total sales are from the designer range. It has tied up with ten leading designers for exclusive range of clothes for its stores.

ITC Ltd currently has 75 stores operational stores in 40 cities in India, out of which 15 are franchised.
