KFC aims 500 outlets by 2015

KFC has plans to open new locations to take its count to 500 KFC outlets by 2015. The new outlets will be a mix of company owned and franchised. The company is targeting the metros and tier I cities for expanding the brand across India. The quick service restaurant chain is now present in 11 cities in India operating through three brands, KFC, Pizza Hut, and Taco Bell.
KFC brand belongs to Yum! Restaurants and its biggest brand and it is all set to reinforce its world wide with key focus on Indonesia and other countries in Asia and some other countries like Russia, Africa and Latin America.
Yum! Restaurants have a popular global presence with over 35,000 restaurants, in over 100 countries. KFC is present in over 80 countries, with more than 13,000 outlets.
