Next Retail set for aggressive expansion

Next Retail, an electronic retail chain brand is planning to open new stores. By this, the company expects to take its store count to 1,000 in coming two years. The new outlets will be opened under both company ownership and franchise model. Out of its total network of 600 outlets, the company already has 430 outlets operating via franchising. The company has opened 80 franchise stores in the last six months.
KS Raman, Director, Next Retail says, “We will be taking the store count to 1,000 in near future. These new outlets will be targeting all B, C, D and E class towns. We are not looking for expansion in metro and Tier I cities.”
