Shubh, a jewellery brand owned by Rajesh Exports (REL), the manufacturers of gold jewellery plans to open 52 stores. This will take the total number of stores to 125 from present 73 stores by the end of this fiscal year. Franchise would be the route for expansion.
The brand is focusing on tier I, II and III cities for expansion. REL is also looking forward to open 295 showrooms by 2013.In terms of area Shubh can be started off with an area of 300 sq. ft to 3,000 sq. ft at prime location or in a jeweller street.
