Mumbai-based SRM Spa & Resorts has signed a master license agreement with US-based hotel franchisor America’s Best Franchising (ABF). ABF is all set to introduce 3 Palms brand in the country via franchising. SRM Spa & Resorts will franchise seven 3 Palms hotels in India over the next eight years. The first property is set to open in 2012 along with others in
six Indian states of Maharashtra, Goa, Delhi, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan.
The company finds India as potential market for the 3 Palms hotels and resorts in three or four-star category property in light of inadequate hospitality sector. They would partner with autonomous hotel operators who are seeking to get along with a reputed hotel trademark with the required back office and marketing support.
