Timex Time Factory plans additional outlets.

Timex Group, India has revealed its plans to double the count of its franchised outlets namely Timex Time Factory in the coming three years in India. It was confirmed by a company official. The company at present has 80 operational franchise outlets in India.
The group also has plans to launch additional multi—brand outlets, organised retail and exclusive shops for furthering its brand portfolio and also increase its distribution. The company has also launched its new brand Helix for younger population. Last year, it has launched a special range conceptualised by well known designer Tarun Tahiliani. Timex also has plans to enhance its manufacturing capacity by 30 per cent at its unit located at Baddi in Himachal Pradesh.
Timex Group (India) is part of US watchmaker Timex which is launching brands particularly designed and developed for the Indian market. Until 2009, the company offered a single brand in India and currently has brands such as Timex, Marc Ecko, Tarun Tahiliani, Versace, Helix and Salvatore Ferragamo in its portfolio.
