Yum! Brands, a restaurant chain is looking for widespread expansion in India and the company is set to open 500 KFCs and 400 Pizza Huts by the year 2015, by franchising as stated by a company official. The company has 110 KFC and 170 Pizza Hut outlets at present. Yum! has brands like KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell under its group.
The company has plans to roll out 1,000 outlets by 2015 in the Indian subcontinent, which includes Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh and Mauritius. The company currently has presence in 110 countries with 37,000 restaurants.
