Franchising is a sunrise industry of India. Eleven years ago when I came back from USA, I envisioned that franchising would have an imprint all across India. Today as I look around at malls, high streets and neighborhoods housing franchise brands, I see it has already become a reality, so I ask myself what next!
In reply, all I can say that you will experience a lot of firsts at Franchise India 2009 starting with India's first ever dedicated Brand Licensing Conference and Exhibition which would open new avenues for manufacturers, retailers, investors, who would in turn network with franchise community to create a faster dissemination. The show will also present specialized pavilions for opportunities in jewellery, food, fashion and special zones for International and Licensing Brands in addition to the regular exhibition sections to network with over 25,000 anticipated visitors coming from all over India and neighboring countries with an ambition to acquire franchise, licenses and brands.
