Clean and clear biz opportunity Symbiosis of exceptional human caliber with innovative mechanised technology is the company called Manmachine. In an interaction, BP Tyagi Head-Exppress Car Wash Division, MANMACHINE WORKS PVT. LTD, shares his experience of brands’ participation in Franchise and Retail Opportunity show (FRO) organised by Franchise India Holdings Ltd.

Namita Bhagat (NB): Share the origin and growth of your company and how did the company opt for franchise route?

B P Tyagi (BPT): Manmachine is a symbiosis of exceptional human caliber with innovative mechanised technology. Exppress Car Wash is brain child of Manmachine Group, and seeks to revolutionise the concept of car cleaning in the country and create a Clean Car Culture. It is a prompt and convenient car cleaning service, first of its kind, which serves the purpose of the fast paced society we live in, where people want their car cleaned in the shortest possible time by the professionals while they enjoy a cup of coffee and watch their car being cleaned and polished professionally.
Exppress Car Wash is planning to establish a nationwide chain of car wash units, allowing customers to get their car cleaned in any city in the country without worrying about the quality and avail finest cleaning service at their convenience in a uniformed manner.

NB: Promotional strategy plays a very significant role in the appropriate growth of the brand. Kindly elaborate on the strategy you adopt to enhance the reach of your brand?

BPT: We plan to promote Exppress Car Wash strategically through - Billboards, brochures, commercials, online advertising, print ads (magazines, newspapers), radio ads, signs and flyers, sponsorship, sweepstakes or (online) contests, website, word of mouth (WOM) and through exhibitions.

NB: The has company participated in FRO, Jaipur. What factors motivated you to participate in the event?

BPT: We participated in FRO – Hyderabad and got good response and that are the most motivating factor for us to participate again in the Jaipur event.

NB: Share your experience of being one of the participating companies at FRO.

BPT: The experience was good and we could establish Exppreess Car Wash to be a unique concept for potential Franchisees.

NB: How do you think the brands’ participation in the event would contribute to the growth of your company?

BPT: Exppress Car Wash aims at understanding the marketing strategies and its impact on the perception of Exppress Car Wash. Research has demonstrated conclusively that it is far more costly to win a new customer than it is to maintain an existing one. And there is no better way to retain a customer than to exceed his expectations. For this purpose it is essential to know the level of customer satisfaction. The focus of such events has been measurement of customer satisfaction level for the services provided. There can be no better opportunity to interact with the external as well as the internal customers of an organization. Finally the results of events like exhibition verify the fact that keeping the customer satisfied is the best strategy.

NB: What advice would you like to give to the entrepreneurs and investors aspiring to participate in the show to get maximum benefits from it?

BPT: Select the right forum and exhibitions like this would prove to be one of the best brand building options.
