Chocolate Room plans quick expansion.

The Chocolate Room India is planning to establish 75 franchised outlets by end of 2011. The company operational in India since 2007 has disclosed its plans of acquiring 50 per cent stake in Australian Master Franchisee. Vikas Panjabi, MD, Chocolate Room India comments, “The Chocolate Room India would be taking 50 per cent stake in Australian set up in 2011.”
The brand has grown phenomenally in the last few years in India. The company had 12 outlets in 2009 and at present it has 42 outlets across the country in cities like Gandhinagar, Baroda, Surat, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangaluru, Mysore, Indore, Chandiagarh, Jalandhar, Amritsar etc.
The Chocolate Room India aims to have 125 outlets by 2012. Further more, the Australian Master Franchisee is considering launching its outlets in the United Kingdom and Canada.
